Problems with Third-Party Payments for Compounded Prescriptions

Abstract:  Obtaining fair reimbursements for compounded prescriptions from third parties is a difficult task. In this article, the author covers strategies for getting paid and staying paid for compounded preparations. He discusses third-party perceptions, ways to get paid, on-line guidelines and National Drug Code numbers and fraud.
