Abstract:  This article features the role of the pharmacy technician and includes comments by pharmacy technicians, the president of the Pharmacy Technicians Educational Council, a representative of the National Association of Pharmacy Boards, pharmacists, a representative of the Massachusetts Board of Registration, a representative of the Louisiana State Board of Pharmacy, the president of the Pennsylvania Pharmacy Association and the executive director of the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board.
